Ryan Ledbetter
Baseball
The final male Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 13-19) for the 2011-12 season is baseball player Ryan Ledbetter. The sophomore from Fishers, Indiana came on in relief to save both games during the first day of action at the NCCAA Baseball Championships. Ledbetter struck out the final two batters with runners in scoring position to preserve a 5-4 win for the Yellow Jackets over Emmanuel. Later in the day, Ledbetter combined with Jordan Ammon on a one-hitter as CU posted a 1-0 verdict against Southeastern. Ledbetter ended the game with a swinging strikeout on a 3-2 pitch with runners at first and third. The 10-team event was played May 16-19 at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio.

Softball
The final female Cedarville SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (May 13-19) for the 2011-12 season is softball player Kelsey Wilson. The sophomore from Bloomington, Illinois capped a record-setting season by being named to the NCCAA All-America First Team and is the NCCAA National Player of the Year. Wilson posted the second-highest single season batting average ever at Cedarville with a .497 mark. She set new single season standards in hits (92), runs (54), singles (68) and total bases (129). The Lady Jackets broke the school record for most wins in a season with 35.
