The female SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Oct. 25-31) is volleyball performer Justine Christiaanse. The 5-11 senior outside hitter from Toledo, Ohio helped the Lady Jackets to two important AMC wins during the week - a 3-1 verdict over visiting Walsh on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and a 3-0 sweep over Carlow during a tri-match at Malone on Saturday, Oct. 31. Christiaanse tallied nine kills with three blocks versus Walsh and 10 kills against Carlow.

Men's Soccer
The male SUBWAY Athlete of the Week (Oct. 25-31) is soccer player Matt Niemiec. The junior forward from Holland, Michigan scored the game-tying goal in the 57th minute of a 3-2 loss to visiting Walsh on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The tally was Niemiec's team-leading 11th goal of the 2009 campaign.
