Chad Hofstetter returns to the Yellow Jacket infield with two years of experience.....appeared in 40 games as a sophomore and all 36 of his starts were at third base.....batted .258 with five multi-hit games.....registered three doubles, a triple, and nine RBI.....made five pitching appearances with a 1-0 record and a 5.19 ERA.....saw action in 18 games as a freshman with 16 starting assignments.....played 15 contests at third base and batted .146. High School -- Played four seasons of baseball with two letters at Dalton High School.....batted a team-high .431 as a senior leading the club in hits (31), runs (24), and RBI's (24) while going 3-3 on the mound with a team-low 2.98 ERA......hit .394 as a junior to lead team.....two-time All-Wayne County League Second Team selection.....played on two county fall league championship teams. Personal -- Multi-Age Physical Education and Health major at Cedarville University.....born 1/29/80.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Everest Hofstetter.....older sister, Kristy, is a Cedarville graduate.....has one younger brother.
