Tim Sastic joins classmate Micah Hutchins as the only four-year players on the team.....started 41 of the 44 games in which he played as a junior.....struggled to a .219 batting average, but ranked second on the team with 22 RBI.....had seven multiple-RBI games including three in which he drove in three runs.....had a team-high 12 hits in 14 at bats (.857) with a runner at third and less than two out.....led the team with 21 walks.....made ten appearances on the mound with five starts. 1999 -- Batted a team-high .346 in 20 games with five doubles, a triple, and one home run.....had five multi-hit games and put together a six-game hitting streak.....pitched nine games with eight starts and one complete game. 1998 -- Played in 25 games with 19 starts as a freshman.....batted .234 with a pair of doubles.....recorded three two-hit games. High School -- Earned eight letters in baseball, basketball, and soccer at Cumberland Christian High School.....three-year letter winner in baseball, who graduated with seven school records.....three-time Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference MVP -- two outright and one shared.....played on one conference championship team.....batted over .500 in his career and tossed two no-hitters.....garnered all-conference honors in basketball and soccer.....National Honor Society member and Student Body President. Personal -- Sociology major at Cedarville University, who intends on entering the pastorate.....born 7/14/79.....son of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Sastic.....younger brother, Craig, is a freshman at Cedarville.
