Indiana Wesleyan outslugged the Yellow Jackets in the opener, 11-9, but CU rebounded to bury Concordia, 19-6. Cedarville opened up a 7-4 lead against IWU, but the Wildcats scored six runs in the fifth inning to take the lead for good. Kurt Hopkins was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Bryan Mangin had two hits and two RBI's, Tim Sastic drove in three runs while Micah Hutchins and Samuel Hutchins added two hits apiece. Six Yellow Jackets had at least two RBI's including Craig Sullivan, who was 4-for-5 with a triple and three runs scored.
