Matt Dunn continued his role as the Yellow Jackets' top golfer and averaged a career-best 78.2 strokes per 18 holes as a junior.....broke 80 in 10 out of 14 rounds and shot no worse than an 81.....carded a season-low 75 twice in tournaments at Muskingum and Mount Vernon Nazarene.....finished second in the Cedarville Invitational with a 76.....won the Southwest Ohio Challenge with a 78 at Springfield's Reid Park North. 1999 -- Dunn turned in a team-low 78.7 average as a sophomore.....medalist of the 18th Annual Cedarville Invitational with a career-best one-under par 71 at Country Club of the North.....only the third Yellow Jacket golfer and the first in 15 years to win the tournament.....shot 83 or lower in 11 competitive rounds with seven scores in the 70's.....tied for 8th in the Mount Vernon Nazarene Invitational following a 80-76-156 effort. 1998 -- Dunn ranked second on the 1998 squad with an 81.3 average.....carded scores of 80 or lower seven times.....turned in a season-low 77 and tied for third place to open the schedule at the Urbana Invitational.....tied for third in the Cedarville Invitational with an 80. High School -- Dunn played four seasons of golf and earned two letters at Lakota High School.....all-conference as both a junior and senior.....placed third in the Cincinnati Junior Golf Championship at age 16 and followed that with a fifth-place showing as a 17-year old.....played baseball three seasons with two letters.....all-conference academic selection three years.....National Honor Society recipient. Personal -- Dean's List student as a Finance and Accounting double major at Cedarville University.....born 6/21/79.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dunn.....has two younger brothers.
