Nov. 7, at Indiana Wesleyan (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Indiana Wesleyan jumped out to a 2-0 lead and held on for a 2-1 victory over Cedarville in the first round of the NCCAA Midwest Regional. The Wildcats, 11-8-0, scored goals in the 18th and 63rd minutes. Yellow Jacket rookie forward Jon Waldo netted his team-high 11th goal of the season in the 65th minute with assists from Dan Adams and Aaron Cook. Cedarville ends the season at 9-9-2. [STATS]

Oct. 28, at Tiffin
Cedarville ended the regular season with a 2-1 American Mideast Conference setback at Tiffin. The match was scoreless until the Dragons found the net in the 63rd minute. TU got the eventual game winner with just three minutes left. The Jackets made it close on Andy Levesque's first goal of the season in the 89th minute with Steve Zarrilli assisting. [STATS]

Oct. 24, at Marian
Rob Marshall's unassisted goal in the 87th minute gave the Yellow Jackets a 2-1 non-conference win at Marian. Cedarville had a 1-0 halftime lead on a goal by Dan Adams with assists from Aaron Cook and Justin Geer in the 34th minute. Marian tied the match early in period two. Matt Reid made two saves in goal to preserve the win. [STATS]

Oct. 21, at Walsh
A quirk in the American Mideast Conference schedule had the Yellow Jackets playing at Walsh's Homecoming instead of their own and the Cavs worked out a 2-1 victory. Walsh scored in the 13th minute, but Aaron Cook tied the match in the 26th minute on assists from Rob Marshall and Jon Waldo. The hosts netted the game winner just two minutes into the second half. Oct. 17, at Shawnee State
Matt Bicknell scored three goals to pace Cedarville to a 4-1 victory at Shawnee State in an American Mideast Conference match. It was the second "hat trick" of the season for the senior forward. Bicknell found the net twice unassisted in the first 13 minutes before the host Bears got on the board in the 16th minute. It stayed that way until Bicknell scored again from Dave Anthony and Dan Adams in the 80th minute. Justin Geer completed the scoring five minutes later on assists from Jon Waldo and Kurt Savage. Oct. 13, GENEVA
Three goals in an eight-minute span of the second half propelled Cedarville to a 3-1 American Mideast Conference win over Geneva in the final regular season home match for six Yellow Jacket seniors. The hosts trailed 1-0 at the half before kicking into gear midway through the second period. Senior midfielder Aaron Cook scored unassisted to tie the match in the 70th minute and then classmate Tim Prusha netted the eventual game winner on an assist from Lael Bryant six minutes later. Bryant set up rookie Jon Waldo's 10th goal of the season in the 78th minute. [STATS]

Oct. 10, at Wittenberg
Wittenberg scored with 39 seconds left in the second overtime to post a 3-2 non-conference win over the Yellow Jackets. Cedarville needed two goals in the final eight minutes of regulation to send the game into the extra sessions. Kurt Savage scored from Roddy Willis in the 82nd minute and then Jon Waldo got the equalizer with 40 seconds remaining. The Tigers held a 19-8 shot advantage for the match in handing the Jackets their first loss in six overtime games this fall. [STATS]

Oct. 7, SAINT VINCENT
Aaron Cook played a key role as Cedarville came back to beat Saint Vincent, 2-1 in overtime, during an American Mideast Conference match. The senior midfielder set up Steve Palmer's tying goal in the 82nd minute and then scored the game winner just 1:43 into sudden death overtime. The two teams combined for only 11 shots on goal with the Bearcats getting on the board first in the 44th minute. Matt Reid made four saves in goal for the Yellow Jackets. [STATS]

Oct. 3, at Mount Vernon Nazarene
Mount Vernon Nazarene took advantage of what few precious shots on goal there were for a 2-0 American Mideast Conference win over the Yellow Jackets. The Cougars, who managed only five shots on net, scored goals in the 36th and 75th minutes. Cedarville was held to just three shots on goal. [STATS]

Sept. 30, at Malone
Aaron Cook's goal in the 65th minute held up to give the Yellow Jackets a 1-1 tie at Malone in American Mideast Conference play. The host Pioneers got on the board first six minutes into the second half. Tim Prusha and Steve Palmer were credited with assists on what was Cook's second goal of the season. Matt Reid made ten saves in goal for Cedarville. Malone had an 11-8 edge in shots on goal. [STATS]

Sept. 27, at Rio Grande
American Mideast Conference leader Rio Grande, ranked No. 7 in the NAIA, held the Yellow Jackets to one shot in a 4-0 victory. The Redmen got all they needed with a goal in the 15th minute. It was 3-0 by halftime and it stayed that way until they netted their final goal with eight minutes left. Rookie forward Jon Waldo got Cedarville's lone shot off in the first period. Matt Reid made seven saves in goal. [STATS]

Sept. 23, POINT PARK
Cedarville netted four goals in a ten-minute span of the second half and crushed Point Park, 6-0, in an American Mideast Conference match. Aaron Cook scored from Jon Waldo in the 13th minute and Steve Palmer scored unassisted in the 28th to provide the Jackets with a 2-0 halftime lead. It stayed that way until Waldo netted his eighth goal of the season in the 79th minute. Dan Adams' unassisted goal, Matt Bicknell's score from Curt Lowry, and Lowry's unassisted goal completed the game-ending surge. Matt Reid and Jeremy Law combined for the shutout. [STATS]

Sept. 19, URBANA
Freshman Jon Waldo had a goal and an assist as the Yellow Jackets stayed unbeaten in the American Mideast Conference with a 3-1 victory against Urbana. Waldo and Steve Palmer set up Rob Marshall's goal in the 15th minute. It was 2-0 at the half following Justin Geer's goal in the 38th minute from Matt Bicknell. The Blue Knights made it interesting with their goal in the 61st minute, but Waldo's team-high seventh goal of the season with 46 seconds left secured the win. [STATS]

Sept. 16, at Cumberland
Cumberland hung on for a 2-1 non-conference victory over the Yellow Jackets. The Indians stopped two Cedarville penalty kicks in the second half to secure the win. Rob Marshall netted the Jackets' goal with an assist from Brian Vance. [STATS]

Sept. 14, at Asbury
Josh Radcliffe scored two minutes into overtime as Cedarville bounced back for a 3-2 non-conference victory at Asbury. The match headed into the extra session on Steve Palmer's goal in the 87th minute. The two teams were tied 1-1 at halftime thanks to rookie Jon Waldo's team-high sixth goal of the season on assists from Justin Geer and Aaron Cook. [STATS]

Sept. 12, OHIO DOMINICAN
Cedarville opened the American Mideast Conference season with a 1-1 tie against Ohio Dominican in two overtimes on the home turf. The Panthers scored on the first shot of the game in the third minute. The Yellow Jackets got the equalizer in the 18th minute when Justin Geer cleaned up a Kurt Savage shot that deflected off the post for his first goal of the season. ODC outshot the hosts 32-17 for the match. Cedarville goalkeeper Matt Reid made 19 saves. [STATS]

Sept. 9, DEFIANCE
The Yellow Jackets scored their most goals in a match in 13 years in blasting Defiance, 12-0, which included a school-record 13 assists. Matt Bicknell had three goals and two assists while Jon Waldo added three goals and one assist in the rout. Josh Radcliffe had two goals and an assist with Roddy Willis also scoring twice. Dave Anthony scored a goal and the other score came on an own goal when Defiance deflected a ball into their own net. Justin Geer, Brian Vance, and Curt Lowry had two assists each with Andy Levesque, Steve Palmer, and Joel Reemtsma adding one apiece. Matt Reid and Tim Sparks combined for the shutout in goal. It was the biggest offensive output for the Yellow Jackets since a 13-0 shelling they administered to Findlay in 1987. [STATS]

Sept. 6, OTTERBEIN
Otterbein handed Cedarville a 4-0 non-conference setback in the Yellow Jackets' home opener. The Cardinals scored in the 18th minute for their only goal of the first half. They made it 2-0 in the 65th minute and then cruised down the stretch. Cedarville managed only five shots on goal in falling to 1-2 overall. [STATS]

Sept. 2, at Grace (Grace Invitational)
Grace won their own invitational by netting a goal in the 64th minute and hanging on to defeat Cedarville, 1-0, in the championship match. The Yellow Jackets peppered the Lancer goal with 22 shots but came up empty. [STATS]

Sept. 1, Northland Baptist (at Grace Invitational)
Freshman forward Jon Waldo scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime, to propel Cedarville to a 3-2 victory over Northland Baptist in the first round of the Grace Invitational. Waldo, who came to Cedarville following a record-setting high school career in Illinois, scored unassisted in the extra session. He earlier found the net on an assist from Dan Adams. Senior co-captain Dave Anthony put the Jackets on the board first with Todd Vance assisting. Goalkeeper Matt Reid made three saves against Northland Baptist, who entered as the defending NCCAA Division II champions. [STATS]
