Ken Loescher is a four-year member of the Yellow Jacket track & field program competing primarily in the 1,500 meters.....finished seventh at the American Mideast Conference Championship last spring in 4:11.13.....placed eighth in the AMC as a sophomore and was fifth as a freshman.....ran a career-best 4:03.59 at the Indy Relays.....member of AMC champion 4 x 800 meter relay team.....NAIA and NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete.....#4 runner on Cedarville's nationally-ranked cross country team that placed a best-ever fifth at the NAIA Nationals last fall and was the NCCAA runner-up.....finished 13th at the AMC meet and was 22nd at the NCCAA Nationals.....placed 12th in 1999 AMC meet with a career-best time of 26:36 for the 8,000 meters.....did not compete his freshman cross country season due to injury. High School -- Earned four letters in cross country and three in track at Tahoma High School.....all-league cross country performer.....member of 1993 and 1994 USATF Junior Olympic cross country national champions. Personal -- Dean's Honor List student as a Chemistry major at Cedarville University.....born 11/7/78.....son of Mr. Ralph Loescher and Mrs. Lila Loescher.....has one older brother and two older sisters.
