Denaye Hilty, who is in her second season with the Lady Jackets, adds depth to the pitching staff.....played in 36 games as a freshman with 25 starts in centerfield and six more as a DH.....posted a 3-4 record on the mound with a 4.40 earned run average.....appeared in ten games as a pitcher with four starts and two complete games.....her first collegiate victory was a complete-game 4-1 win over AMC foe Saint Vincent.....also received the decision in wins over Seton Hill and Malone.

High School -- Assembled a three-sport career at Central Christian High School.....four-year letter winner in softball while playing under the coaching of her father.....also played volleyball and basketball.....twice named her softball squad's top defensive player and earned best offensive player honors once.....named to the Wooster Daily Record softball team and played in the 1999 Senior All-Star Game.....four-year scholar-athlete.
