Nov. 17, Malone (NAIA Region IX Tournament)
American Mideast Conference member and #2 Malone ended the Lady Jackets season with a 15-11, 15-10, 14-16, 15-8 victory. Heather van der Aa hammered 27 kills for the Jackets, who finish 29-14. Lori Bunger handed out 49 assists with 13 digs while Cheryl Meyer added 17 digs. Despite the losses, Cedarville ends the year with their tenth straight winning season. [STATS]

Nov. 17, Daemen (NAIA Region IX Tournament)
The #4 seed Yellow Jackets opened NAIA regional play with a setback to #5 seed Daemen NY. The Warriors knocked off Cedarville by scores of 15-6, 7-15, 15-8, 15-12. Heather van der Aa ripped 22 kills and Lori Bunger tallied 35 assists. [STATS]

Nov. 11, at Malone (AMC Tournament)
Host and #1 seed Malone defeated Cedarville 15-5, 15-13, 14-16, 15-2 in the semifinals of the American Mideast Conference Tournament. Heather van der Aa pounded 18 kills while Amy Martin had 14. Lori Bunger registered 43 assists with 12 digs and Courtney Williams had 15 digs. [STATS]

Nov. 10, Ohio Dominican (AMC Tournament)
Amy Martin and Jennifer Tetrick buried 19 kills each to pace the #4 seed Lady Jackets to a 15-12, 15-11, 15-12 victory over #5 Ohio Dominican in the first round of the American Mideast Conference Tournament at Malone. Heather van der Aa ripped 18 kills and Leah Ziegenfuss added 12 more. Lori Bunger recorded 63 assists and 23 digs, Courtney Williams tallied 14 digs, and Carrie Hartman chipped in 12. [STATS]

Nov. 7, at Huntington
Junior middle hitter Amy Martin became the eighth Lady Jacket volleyball player to surpass 1,000 career kills in leading Cedarville to a 15-5, 6-15, 15-8, 15-7 non-conference victory at Huntington in the regular season finale. She had a team-high 16 kills with five blocks to join teammates Heather van der Aa and Leah Ziegenfuss in the exclusive 1,000 Kill Club. Lori Bunger handed out 35 assists with 10 digs while van der Aa added 13 kills with five blocks. [STATS]

Nov. 2, MOUNT VERNON NAZARENE (NCCAA Nationals)
American Mideast Conference member Mount Vernon Nazarene knocked the host Lady Jackets out of the NCCAA Nationals 15-9, 16-14, 12-15, 15-6 in a match with the winner earning a bid to the semifinals. Lori Bunger tallied a school-record 68 assists with 24 digs. Heather van der Aa hammered a career-high 29 kills, just three shy of the school record, and Amy Martin drilled 23 kills. [STATS]

Nov. 2, CHRISTIAN HERITAGE (NCCAA Nationals)
Defending champion and #3 seed Christian Heritage took care of the #10 Lady Jackets 15-5, 15-6, 15-8 in pool play. Heather van der Aa pounded 12 kills for Cedarville, Lori Bunger had 19 assists with 13 digs, and Amy Martin turned away five blocks. [STATS]

Nov. 2, MIDAMERICA NAZARENE (NCCAA Nationals)
After getting ripped in the first game, Cedarville rebounded for a 2-15, 15-12, 15-7, 15-9 victory over #7 MidAmerica Nazarene to close out the opening day of the NCCAA Nationals. The Yellow Jackets' balanced attack featured Amy Martin with 15 kills, Heather van der Aa with 14, and Julie Rhoads pounding 12. Lori Bunger tallied 42 assists, Chrissie Fretts turned in 15 digs, Carrie Hartman added 11, and van der Aa recorded six blocks. [STATS]

Nov. 2, OLIVET NAZARENE (NCCAA Nationals)
No. 2 seed Olivet Nazarene defeated the Lady Jackets 15-5, 15-5, 5-15, 15-9 in the first match of pool play at the NCCAA Nationals in the Athletic Center. Heather van der Aa ripped 17 kills and Jennifer Tetrick added 11. Lori Bunger tallied 36 assists with 15 digs while LaChelle Peters had 14 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 28, Spring Arbor (Aquinas Invitational)
Cedarville waxed Spring Arbor 15-3, 15-3, 15-7 as half of Lori Bunger's 44 assists went to Heather van der Aa who pounded 22 kills. Amy Martin had 10 kills and LaChelle Peters tallied 10 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 28, at Aquinas (Aquinas Invitational)
Amy Martin ripped 15 kills, Heather van der Aa buried 13, and Leah Ziegenfuss added 11 in a 15-13, 15-11, 15-6 victory over Aquinas. Lori Bunger had 39 assists and 11 digs while Courtney Williams was credited with 13 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 28, Huntington (Aquinas Invitational)
The Jackets swept past Huntington 15-11, 15-2, 15-6 with Leah Ziegenfuss leading the attack with 14 kills. Heather van der Aa had 12 kills, Lori Bunger supplied 45 assists and 10 digs while LaChelle Peters added 12 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 24, at Shawnee State
Cedarville completed their American Mideast Conference schedule with a 12-2 mark by sweeping host Shawnee State 15-12, 15-12, 15-7. Heather van der Aa ripped 22 kills and Leah Ziegenfuss drilled 12 more. Lori Bunger recorded 36 assists and 20 digs while Carrie Hartman was credited with 10 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 21, INDIANA WESLEYAN (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Eventual champion Indiana Wesleyan, ranked No. 13 in the NAIA, defeated Cedarville 15-4, 15-7, 19-17 in the semifinals of the NCCAA Midwest Regional. Heather van der Aa had eight kills and four blocks while Leah Ziegenfuss added eight kills. Lori Bunger recorded 22 assists and 14 digs. All three players were named to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team. [STATS]

Oct. 20, GRACE (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Grace ended Cedarville's 13-match winning streak with a 15-11, 15-12, 12-15, 15-9 victory in the NCCAA Midwest Regional. It also halted the Jackets' 38-game winning streak. Leah Ziegenfuss hammered 13 kills for the hosts while Heather van der Aa and Amy Martin added 11 each. Lori Bunger was credited with 47 assists and 14 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 20, TAYLOR-FORT WAYNE (NCCAA Midwest Regional)
Cedarville opened play in the NCCAA Midwest Regional with a 15-3, 15-6, 15-6 win over Taylor-Fort Wayne. It was the 13th consecutive win for the Lady Jackets. Heather van der Aa had 11 kills while Leah Ziegenfuss added 10 to pace the attack. Lori Bunger handed out 18 assists with seven digs. [STATS]

Oct. 17, at Tiffin
Heather van der Aa pounded 19 kills and turned away five blocks in a 15-6, 15-3, 15-6 American Mideast Conference victory at Tiffin. It was the 12th straight win for the Lady Jackets and the 11th consecutive 3-0 sweep as they have now taken 35 games in a row. Amy Martin added 11 kills at the net. Lori Bunger was good for 41 assists and 10 digs while Chrissie Fretts supplied nine digs. [STATS]

Oct. 16, at Central State
Heather van der Aa, Leah Ziegenfuss, and Emily Young buried 12 kills apiece to lead the Jackets to a 15-7, 15-6, 15-1 American Mideast Conference victory at Central State. Lori Bunger handed out 38 assists and Courtney Williams added 13 digs in what was the 11th consecutive victory for Cedarville. Ziegenfuss set a school record for highest attack percentage in one match. Her 12 kills came in 14 attempts with no errors for an .857 accuracy which surpassed the .833 standard set last year by Jennifer Tetrick in a match versus Point Park. [STATS]

Oct. 14, SETON HILL
Senior setter Lori Bunger became Cedarville's all-time assist leader as the Lady Jackets rolled to their 10th straight win with a 15-4, 15-5, 15-5 decision over Seton Hill in an American Mideast Conference match. Bunger handed out 34 assists to up her career mark to 4,028 which surpasses the previous record of 4,004 set by Angela Hartman from 1990 through 1993. Amy Martin pounded 14 kills to go along with four blocks while Heather van der Aa added 14 kills. Cedarville has won 29 consecutive games during the 10-match winning streak. [STATS]

Oct. 13, SAINT VINCENT
Heather van der Aa pounded 14 kills and had six blocks to lead Cedarville to their ninth straight win in a 15-8, 15-3, 15-8 decision over Saint Vincent in an American Mideast Conference match. Lori Bunger added 39 assists and 15 digs to the victory. The Jackets hammered 50 kills as a team and totalled 17 blocks. [STATS]

Oct. 10, RIO GRANDE
Leah Ziegenfuss pounded 16 kills and Heather van der Aa hammered 14 more in a 15-4, 15-8, 15-8 victory over American Mideast Conference foe Rio Grande for their eighth win in a row. Amy Martin provided seven kills and five blocks for the Lady Jackets, who have won 23 straight games during the current streak. Lori Bunger added 44 assists and Chrissie Fretts had 11 digs. [STATS]

Oct. 6, NOTRE DAME (Ohio)
Cedarville won its seventh straight match with a 15-10, 15-6, 15-6 sweep of Notre Dame College in an American Mideast Conference match. Senior outside hitter Leah Ziegenfuss buried 14 kills to become the seventh player in Lady Jacket volleyball history to reach 1,000 for a career. Junior middle hitter Heather van der Aa, who last year was the sixth player to hit the milestone, also had 14 kills and Lori Bunger dealt out 40 assists. [STATS]

Oct. 3, URBANA
The Lady Jackets coasted to their sixth straight victory with a 15-7, 15-3, 15-4 decision over Urbana in American Mideast Conference play. Amy Martin hammered 12 kills and did not commit an error in 17 attempts to lead the attack. Heather van der Aa added nine kills while Leah Ziegenfuss had eight. Sept. 30, at Geneva
Heather van der Aa buried 20 kills to help Cedarville extend their winning streak to five straight with a 15-5, 15-10, 15-5 victory at Geneva in an American Mideast Conference match. Amy Martin and Leah Ziegenfuss provided eight kills apiece while Lori Bunger contributed 27 assists and 15 digs. The Lady Jackets have lost only one game during the streak. [STATS]

Sept. 29, at Point Park
It only took 40 minutes for the Lady Jackets to extend their winning streak to four straight with a 15-0, 15-3, 15-2 victory at Point Park in American Mideast Conference play. Heather van der Aa ripped 11 kills in 15 attempts without an error to lead the attack while Lori Bunger handed out 26 assists. As a team, Cedarville buried 33 kills in 47 attempts with only two errors for a .660 attack percentage. [STATS]

Sept. 26, MALONE
Cedarville stopped Malone, who entered the match unbeaten in five American Mideast Conference outings, by scores of 15-1, 15-12, 17-15. Heather van der Aa pounded 15 kills for the Lady Jackets who won for the third straight time. Lori Bunger tallied 36 assists and 13 digs while Amy Martin chipped in eight kills and four blocks. Sept. 23, at Wilmington
The Jackets swept by longtime rival Wilmington 15-2, 17-15, 15-12 in a non-conference match. Heather van der Aa paced the attack with 16 kills and freshman setter Carrie Hartman handed out 23 assists. [STATS]

Sept. 23, Mount Union (at Wilmington)
Cedarville ended a two-match losing streak with an impressive non-conference win over Mount Union, who entered with a 15-1 record and ranked No. 17 in NCAA Division III. The winning scores were 15-11, 14-16, 15-5, 15-6. Leah Ziegenfuss hammered 17 kills and Lori Bunger was good for 46 assists. [STATS]

Sept. 21, at Mount Vernon Nazarene
American Mideast Conference leader Mount Vernon Nazarene, ranked No. 20 in the NAIA, swept past Cedarville 15-11, 15-6, 15-7. Heather van der Aa had 13 kills for the Lady Jackets. Lori Bunger recorded 28 assists and Cheryl Meyer had 13 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 15, WALSH
Walsh came into the Athletic Center and stunned the Lady Jackets 15-11, 15-12, 8-15, 15-11 in American Mideast Conference play. Heather van der Aa hammered 25 kills for the hosts while Leah Ziegenfuss added 17. Lori Bunger handed out 52 assists and Carrie Hartman recorded 13 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 12, OHIO DOMINICAN
Cedarville cruised to a 15-7, 15-11, 15-0 victory over Ohio Dominican in their American Mideast Conference opener in the Athletic Center. The balanced attack was paced by Leah Ziegenfuss and Jennifer Tetrick with 10 kills each while Heather van der Aa added nine. Lori Bunger supplied 30 assists and 15 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 9, INDIANAPOLIS (13th Annual Cedarville Invitational)
Indianapolis won the Cedarville Invitational for the second straight year by sweeping the Lady Jackets 17-15, 15-3, 15-10 in the final. Jennifer Tetrick had 14 kills, Lori Bunger handed out 35 assists, and Carrie Hartman supplied 13 digs. Bunger and Heather van der Aa were named to the all-tournament team. [STATS]

Sept. 9, GRACE (13th Annual Cedarville Invitational)
The Jackets defeated Grace in the semifinals 15-13, 2-15, 15-7, 15-10. Amy Martin ripped 14 kills while Leah Ziegenfuss and Jennifer Tetrick added 13 apiece. Lori Bunger recorded 51 assists with 15 digs and LaChelle Peters had 12 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 9, TRINITY INTERNATIONAL (13th Annual Cedarville Invitational)
Cedarville took care of Trinity International in the quarterfinals 15-3, 15-3, 15-4 behind Heather van der Aa's 16 kills. Amy Martin added 10 kills and Lori Bunger had 40 assists with 13 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 8, COLLEGE of WEST VIRGINIA (13th Annual Cedarville Invitational)
The Jackets finished 3-0 in their pool after sweeping the College of West Virginia 15-4, 15-4, 15-11. Amy Martin paced the attack with 18 kills while Heather van der Aa ripped 15. Lori Bunger handed out 42 assists, Chrissie Fretts had 11 digs, and Casey Schmidt added 10. [STATS]

Sept. 8, AQUINAS (13th Annual Cedarville Invitational)

Sept. 8, CENTRAL STATE (13th Annual Cedarville Invitational)
Cedarville opened their tournament by cruising past Central State 15-1, 15-2, 15-5. Jennifer Tetrick had eight kills and Lori Bunger tallied 18 assists. [STATS]

Sept. 2, Eckerd (at Clearwater Christian Tournament)
Eckerd swept Cedarville 15-10, 15-8, 15-11 to win the Clearwater Christian Tournament. Amy Martin had 13 kills in the setback while Lori Bunger handed out 35 assists. Bunger and Heather van der Aa were voted to the all-tournament team. [STATS]

Cedarville wrapped up pool play with a 13-15, 15-5, 15-7, 15-12 win over Flagler. Heather van der Aa ripped 18 kills, Amy Martin added 16, and Lori Bunger racked up 57 assists and 16 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 1, Warner Southern (at Clearwater Christian Tournament)
Cedarville recovered for their first win of the season in a 16-14, 15-3, 15-4 victory over Warner Southern in pool play. It was van der Aa with 13 kills and Martin with 10 leading the attack. Bunger delivered 31 assists and 11 digs. [STATS]

Sept. 1, Eckerd (at Clearwater Christian Tournament)
Eckerd rebounded to defeat the Jackets 9-15, 17-15, 15-5, 15-13 in the first pool play match. Heather van der Aa ripped 20 kills with Amy Martin and Jennifer Tetrick adding 10 each. Lori Bunger had 48 assists and 20 digs while Carrie Hartman had 16 digs. [STATS]

Aug. 30, at Taylor
Host Taylor IN, preseason ranked No. 11 in the NAIA, defeated Cedarville 15-8, 5-15, 15-11, 15-5 in a non-conference match. It was the season opener for both squads. Heather van der Aa buried 15 kills for the Lady Jackets. Amy Martin and freshman Julie Rhoads added eight kills each. Lori Bunger supplied 30 assists and 14 digs. [STATS]
