Stephanie Schanher enjoyed her best season as a Lady Jacket.....overcame many of the injury problems that put her on the sidelines in previous seasons by playing in 31 of 33 games with one start.....NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete which recognizes juniors and seniors who maintain a minimum 3.40 cumulative grade point average.....came on strong at the end of the season to average 10.3 ppg and 5.3 rpg in the final four games.....averaged 5.0 ppg for the season, shot .750 from the charity stripe, and handed out 49 assists.....recorded career-highs of 13 points and 11 rebounds in an NCCAA regional playoff game at Spring Arbor.....matched her career-high of 13 points in three other contests.

1998-99 -- Schanher received time in the Lady Jacket backcourt in 25 games off of the bench during her sophomore campaign.....recorded 48 points, 23 rebounds, and 10 assists while shooting at a .400 accuracy outside the three-point arc.....scored a season-high nine points in a victory at Baptist Bible College.

1997-98 -- Schanher appeared in 15 games after a recurring back injury kept her on the sidelines for the first half of her freshman season.....scored 15 points and handed out eight assists while making seven-of-eight free throws for 87.5 percent.....netted eight points in a win at Wilmington.

High School -- Schanher joined the Cedarville program after graduating as Shawnee High School's all-time assist leader where many of her passes were handled by Yellow Jacket classmate Julie Nourse.....scored 10.5 points per game as a senior and was named to the All-Central Buckeye Conference Second Team.....All-Clark County First Team selection as both a junior and senior.....played in the 1997 District 9 All-Star Game.....three-year letter winner in basketball at Shawnee who was part of two sectional and one district championship team.....played on one CBC tennis title team.....excellent student who was named to the National Honor Society.

Personal -- Dean's List student at Cedarville University as a Human Resource Management major.....born 5/21/79.....daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Schanher III.....has one older sister and a younger brother.
