CEDARVILLE, Ohio (2-21-2001) -- Julie Nourse was selected to the American Mideast Conference Second Team for the 2000-01 season, Pattie Schryer was honorable mention, and Julie Stauffer was named to the All-AMC Freshmen Team in voting by the league's coaches. Nourse, a six-foot senior center from Springfield, OH, averaged 14.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. She finished her career third on the Lady Jackets' all-time scoring with 1,706 points and she was fourth in rebounding with 918 boards. Schryer, a 5-7 junior guard from Clark Lake, MI, averaged 11.4 points and drilled a school-record 58 three-point baskets. RIO GRANDE, Ohio (2-17-2001) -- Julie Nourse finished her career third on Cedarville's all-time scoring list, but the Lady Jackets dropped a 73-66 decision at Rio Grande in their season finale. CU made only four field goals in the first half and trailed 31-15 at the break. They outscored the Redwomen 51-42 in the final period and got as close as six points. Nourse tallied 20 points and ended with 1,706 points for her career. Pattie Schryer scored 19 points and Molly Earley pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds. [STATS] |
