Kristen DeVinney is the only player in Cedarville's three-year soccer history to have played and started in all 45 matches.....program's all-time leading scorer with 18 goals and 16 assists for 52 points.....will serve as one of the team's captains for the second straight year.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team and to the American Mideast Conference Second Team as a junior.....scored four goals and handed out eight assists for 16 points which ranked second on the team and eighth in the AMC.....her 0.57 assists per game rated second in the league.....scored twice in a 3-0 Homecoming win over Marian which were the first two goals scored on Cedarville's new home field.....recorded two assists each in wins over Marietta and Urbana. 1998 -- DeVinney was the only player to start all 19 matches and she ranked third in scoring with four goals and a team-high seven assists for 15 points.....named to the American Mideast Conference First Team and ranked fourth in the league in assists.....scored twice in a 6-5 win over Grace and notched two assists in a 4-3 victory at Wittenberg. 1997 -- DeVinney finished the Lady Jackets' first varsity season as the team's leading scorer with 10 goals and one assist for 21 points.....named to the NCCAA All-America Second Team and to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....scored a school-record four goals during a 9-0 rout at Huntington which was the program's first victory.....netted both goals in a 2-1 win over Bluffton in Cedarville's first-ever home match and later scored just 41 seconds after the opening kickoff of a 2-1 upset over Walsh. High School -- DeVinney was a four-year letter winner in soccer at Perry High School.....played on three divisional championship squads, was named to the all-conference team three times, and she led the league in scoring as a junior.....also garnered letters in basketball and softball. Personal -- Dean's List student at Cedarville University as a Nursing major.....born 4/25/79.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald DeVinney.....has one older sister and one older brother.
