Cedarville University

Michelle Ruhlman has established herself to be the Lady Jackets most dangerous offensive player and has been named a team captain for the 2000 season.....earned her second straight Team MVP honor upon leading the squad as a sophomore in scoring with eight goals and six assists for 22 points.....repeat selection to the NCCAA All-America Second Team and to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....Cedarville's lone representative to the 11-member American Mideast Conference First Team.

Ruhlman twice put together games of two goals and one assist.....first such effort came in a 5-0 win over Marietta and she later accomplished the feat in a 7-0 AMC victory at Urbana.....netted second-half goal in a 1-0 win over AMC foe Walsh.....ranked sixth in the AMC in goals scored, fifth in assists, and fourth in overall scoring with 1.57 points per game.

1998 -- Ruhlman made an immediate impact as a freshman and was voted Team MVP......named to the NCCAA All-America Second Team, the NCCAA All-Midwest Region Team, and was American Mideast Conference honorable mention.....rated second on the team in scoring with seven goals and six assists for 20 points which ranked ninth in the AMC.....top scoring effort was two goals and an assist in a 4-2 win against Otterbein.

High School -- Ruhlman was a four-year letter winner in soccer and track at Shorecrest High School.....member of the 1995 Washington Class AAA state championship soccer team as a sophomore and played on four league title squads.....named Team MVP and was selected to the All-Area First Team as a senior.

Personal -- Ruhlman is a Dean's List student at Cedarville University, who carries a Nursing major.....ran on the Lady Jacket track team as a freshman and placed second in the AMC 400 meters.....born 2/12/80....daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Tom Ruhlman.....has one older sister, two older brothers, two younger brothers, and two younger sisters......older brother, Scott, ran on the Yellow Jacket cross country and track squads from 1996 through 2000.
