  • Kate Beatty, an NAIA and NCCAA All-America performer, returns for her third season with the Lady Jackets to focus on the high jump, 100 meter hurdles, and the relays.....NAIA All-American last spring in the outdoor high jump by placing third (5-5) and was NCCAA champion in the 100 meter hurdles with a career-best time (14.98).....American Mideast Conference champion in both events including a career-best 5-6 effort in the high jump.....led the team in points scored.

    1999 -- NAIA All-American in the outdoor high jump as a freshman by placing sixth upon clearing 5-5.....NAIA indoor qualifier.....finished second in the AMC high jump and was fourth at the NCCAA.....placed third in the AMC 100 meter hurdles and won the event at Rio Grande with a season-low time of 15.60.....ranked sixth on the team in scoring.

    High School -- Competed in track & field, basketball, and lacrosse at Shawnee High School.....four-time All-South Jersey Track Team honoree and was the New Jersey Group IV state indoor high jump champion as a junior and senior.....NJSTCA Field Performer of the Year in the high jump in 1997.....graduated with school records in the outdoor and indoor high jump.....member of two sectional championship teams.

    Personal -- Dean's List student as a Nursing major at Cedarville University with a Cross Cultural minor.....born 4/14/80.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Beatty.....has one older brother and a younger brother.
