Erin Nehus has already demonstrated herself to be one of the top female distance runners that Cedarville University has ever had.....will run the 1,500 meters as well as the 3K and 5K.....American Mideast Conference champion in the 1,500 (4:54.74) as a freshman and was fourth in the NCCAA.....placed second in the AMC and NCCAA 3,000.....ranked fourth on the team in scoring.....#1 runner on nationally-ranked cross country team for the second straight season.....two-time NAIA All-American in cross country, who is only the fourth CU female to earn the honor, and two-time NCCAA All-American. High School -- Put together a record-setting career at Gallia Academy.....All-Ohio performer in cross country and on the track in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs.....four-time team MVP in both cross country and track & field.....holds the school record in the 800 meters at 2:25.....earned All-Southeast Ohio Athletic League honors during each of her four years.....garnered All-Ohio Academic recognition and was Valedictorian of her graduating class. Personal -- Dean's List student as an Exercise Science/Sports Management major at Cedarville University.....born 3/16/81.....daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harry Nehus.....older brother, Eddie, is a senior on the men's team.
