Kristen Nichols is a four-year performer for the Lady Jackets in the high jump and hurdles.....placed third in the American Mideast Conference high jump last spring, was the runner-up as a sophomore, and finished third as a freshman.....ended up third in the NCCAA high jump as a rookie.....ran to a fourth-place finish in the NCCAA 400 meter hurdles as a sophomore.....NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete in both cross country and track & field.....ran cross country for the 1998 and 1999 squads.

High School -- Garnered 11 letters in track, volleyball, and basketball at Lake Linden-Hubbell High School.....member of three regional track championship squads.....two-time track MVP of Copper County Conference and holds league records in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles.....class valedictorian and Homecoming Queen.

Personal -- Dean's Honor List student as an Elementary Education major at Cedarville University.....born 2/18/79.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Nichols.....has one younger sister.
