Sharon Wright returns for her second season with the Lady Jackets competing primarily in the sprints.....placed sixth in the NCCAA 200 meters as a freshman with a school-record time of 25.67 seconds and was also sixth in the 400 meters.....scored in three events at the American Mideast Conference Championship.....turned in a season-low 59.81 effort in the 400 meters which placed third to go along with a third-place showing in the 200 and a sixth-place finish in the long jump. High School -- Three-year letter winner in track & field at Southfield Christian High School.....two-time all-conference performer.....graduated with school record in the 200 meter dash (26.67) and the 400 meters (1:01.70).....won regional titles throughout her career in the long jump, 200, 400, 4 x 200 relay, and the 4 x 400 relay.....member of 4 x 400 meter relay unit that placed eighth in the state her sophomore year.....class valedictorian. Personal -- Carries an English and Spanish double major at Cedarville University.....born 10/5/81.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wright.....has one younger sister.
