May 24-26, at NAIA Outdoor Championships
Jen Heidenreich broke her own school record in the 400 meter hurdles for the second straight day and grabbed the sixth and final All-America slot in the event at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She was timed in 1:01.83 in the finals. Two-time NAIA All-American Kate Beatty narrowly missed the honor for the third straight year upon finishing in a tie for seventh in the high jump. The top six finishers are All-Americans and Beatty cleared 5-4.25, but it took a 5-6 effort to crack the top six. The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Heidenreich, Sharon Wright, Mary Rose Hocevar, and Rebekah Millet set a new school record with a time of 48.84 seconds in the prelims. On opening day, Lady Jacket freshman Michaela Cernetic finished eighth in the hammer throw with a heave of 146-feet 7-inches. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

May 12, at Indiana Invitational
Lady Jacket freshman Michaela Cernetic met the NAIA automatic qualifying mark in the hammer throw at the Indiana Invitational. Her toss of 152-feet 3-inches placed 12th while competing against NCAA Division I athletes and also qualifies her for this summer's USA Track & Field Junior Nationals for athletes 19 years of age and under. May 3-5, NCCAA NATIONALS
The host Lady Jackets finished second behind American Mideast Conference member Malone in the NCCAA Track & Field Championships, and Kate Beatty, Jenny Heidenreich and Erin Nehus each won two events during the weekend. Malone won the team title with 188 points while Cedarville was next with 170 in the 20-team field. Beatty was victorious in the 100 meter hurdles (15.26) and the high jump (5-6). Heidenreich won the 400 meter hurdles with an NCCAA and school-record time of 1:02.43 and took the pole vault by clearing a school-record 10-feet. Nehus was a winner in both the 3,000 meters (10:41.36) and the 5,000 meters (18:25.95). The 4 x 400 meter relay squad of Heidenreich, Stephanie Hollingshead, Sara Gruber, and Sharon Wright set a school record with a third-place time of 3:59.65. Michaela Cernetic, Callie Edgington, and Michalina Gluchowski were recognized as At-Large All-Americans while Kristen Nichols and Jennifer Walker were named All-America Scholar-Athletes. April 28, at American Mideast Conference
Jenny Heidenreich won three individual events and was part of a winning relay team en route to being voted the Outstanding Performer of the Meet at the American Mideast Conference Championships where CU placed second. She set a meet record in the 400 meter hurdles (1:03.81) to go along with wins in the triple jump (36-¾) and the pole vault (8-11¾). Heidenreich joined Sharon Wright, Mary Rose Hocevar, and Rebekah Millet in the 4 x 100 meter relay for a winning time of 49.50 seconds. The Lady Jackets won four other individual events. Those wins came from Kate Beatty in the high jump (5-1¾), Sarah Pollock in the 800 meters (2:26.40), Erin Nehus in the 1,500 (4:56.60), and Jennifer Tetrick in the 10K (41:06.20). [COMPLETE RESULTS]

April 21, at Indy Relays
Kate Beatty was the only Lady Jacket winner at the Indy Relays where she was victorious in the 100 meter hurdles. She won the event with a time of 15.27 seconds. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

April 14, at Miami Invitational
Cedarville was the only non-NCAA Division I school at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational, but Erin Nehus finished fourth in the 5,000 meters and Jenny Heidenreich was fourth in the 400 meter hurdles. Nehus had a time of 18:14.31 in the 5K while Heidenreich's performance was clocked in 1:05.18. Kate Beatty was fifth in the high jump at 5-feet 5-inches which met the NAIA automatic qualifying standard and she improved upon her provisional qualifying mark in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.36 seconds. Mary Rose Hocevar was also a provisional qualifier in the 100 meter hurdles at 15.69. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

April 6-7, at Northwest Ohio Classic
Jenny Heidenreich finished second in the 400 meter hurdles (1:04.79) and was fifth in the triple jump (35-¼) at the Northwest Ohio Track & Field Classic hosted by the University of Findlay. Jen Nikerle was third in the 5,000 meters (19:23.38) and Michaela Cernetic was third in the hammer (142-4). In the 3,000 meters, Erin Nehus placed fourth (10:44.35) while Sarah Roberts was sixth (11:02.03). [COMPLETE RESULTS]

March 31, CEDARVILLE OPEN
Kate Beatty was a winner in the high jump and Jenny Heidenreich had the best effort in the triple jump at the Cedarville Track & Field Open. Beatty's winning jump was 5-feet 3-inches while Heidenreich's leap was 36-feet 4¼-inches. Heidenreich was also second in the 400 meter hurdles. Other runner-up showings came from Katie Rulapaugh in the 3K race walk, Michaela Cernetic in the hammer, Callie Edgington in the pole vault, and the 4 x 400 meter relay team. [RESULTS]

March 22-24, at Florida State Relays
Erin Nehus was clocked in 17:46.35 in the 5,000 meters and finished ninth at the Florida State Relays to meet the NAIA automatic qualifying standard in the event. NAIA provisional qualifiers were Kate Beatty in the 100 meter hurdles (15.74) and Jenny Heidenreich in the 400 meter hurdles (1:05.44). Michaela Cernetic placed sixth overall in the hammer (141-0) and Sarah Roberts won the Division II 5,000 meters in 18:31.76. [RESULTS]

March 2-3, at NAIA Indoor Championships
The Lady Jackets failed to score at the NAIA National Indoor Track & Field Championships, but Katie Rulapaugh, Erin Nehus, and Sarah Roberts all had top ten finishes in their respective events. Rulapaugh placed eighth in the 3,000 meter race walk in 18:17.43. Nehus was ninth in the 3,000 meter run in 10:35.57 while Roberts finished 10th at 10:39.34. [RESULTS]

Feb. 23, at Denison Invitational
Rebekah Millet won the 55 meter dash and the Lady Jackets had three other second-place finishes at the Denison Indoor Invitational. Millet's winning time was 7.61 seconds. Kate Beatty finished second in the high jump (5-3) and second in the 55 meter hurdles (8.98) while Sarah Pollock was second in the 800 meters (2:24.39). Mary Rose Hocevar placed third in the long jump (15-9) and third in the 55 meter hurdles (9.12). [RESULTS]

Feb. 16, at Ohio Northern Invitational
Cedarville came in second to the host school at the Ohio Northern Indoor Invitational as Erin Nehus placed second in two events and and three Lady Jacket athletes total qualified for the NAIA Nationals in their respective events. ONU tallied 101 points while the Lady Jackets totaled 79 and Otterbein had 76 to round out the top three in the 14-team field. Nehus was the runner-up in the 1,000 (3:07.72) and 1,500 (4:53.51) meter runs. Her mark in the 1,500 met the NAIA qualifying standard. Sarah Pollock met the NAIA qualifying mark in the 800 upon placing second in 2:22.46, and Sarah Roberts also qualified in the 1,500 by placing third in 4:54.04. Other second-place finishes came from Jennifer Nikerle in the 5,000 meters (18:53.25) and Callie Edgington in the pole vault (9-feet ¼-inch). [RESULTS]  

Feb. 10, at All-Ohio Championships
The Lady Jackets were runner-up to Central State in the NAIA Division of the All-Ohio Championships. CSU won the meet with 38 points while Cedarville tallied 28, Malone, 18, Tiffin, 10, and Wilberforce, 0. Kate Beatty was 5th in the high jump, but met the NAIA qualifying mark by clearing 5-feet 5-inches. Erin Nehus finished 5th in the 3,000 meters in 10:31.07 and Sarah Roberts was 9th in 10:37.43 which met the NAIA provisional standard. [RESULTS]

Feb. 10, at Denison Invitational
While the qualifiers participated in the All-Ohio Championships, the rest of the team competed in the non-scoring Denison Invitational. Mary Rose Hocevar was 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles in 9.04 seconds and Jennifer Nikerle was 2nd in the 1,500 meters in 5:04.24. Rebekah Millet placed 3rd in the 55 meter dash in 7.66 seconds and Sarah Pollock was 3rd in the 1,500 with a time of 5:07.54. [RESULTS]

Feb. 3, at Kent State Open
NAIA All-American Kate Beatty had the highest finish for the Lady Jackets at the Kent State Open by tying for seventh place in the high jump upon clearing 5-feet 1¾-inches. Erin Nehus was 8th in the 3,000 meters in 10:28.51 which met the NAIA qualifying standard of 10:33.5 and Callie Edgington finished 9th in the pole vault at 8-feet 10¼-inches. [RESULTS]

Jan. 27, at Findlay Classic
The Lady Jackets competed in the Findlay Classic where their best finish came from Erin Nehus in the 3,000 meters as she placed third in 10:41.83. NAIA All-American Kate Beatty was 5th in the high jump upon clearing 5-feet 2½ inches. Michaela Cernetic finished 5th in the weight throw with a heave of 45-feet ½-inch which was just a half inch short of meeting the NAIA national qualifying standard. [RESULTS]

Jan. 19, at Ohio Northern Invitational
The Lady Jackets tallied 104 points which finished third behind host Ohio Northern, 163, and runner-up Findlay, 144, in the seven-team Ohio Northern Indoor Track & Field Invitational. Kate Beatty met the NAIA national qualifying mark in winning the high jump by clearing 5-feet 4-inches. Erin Nehus won the 1,500 meters in 4:57.07 and Jennifer Nikerle claimed the 5,000 meter title in 19:25.63. [RESULTS]
