Katie Rulapaugh returns for her second season of cross country with the Lady Jackets.....finished her rookie year as the team's #7 runner.....ran in seven varsity meets breaking the 21:00 mark in the 5K five times with a career-best 20:12 effort at the Wilmington Invitational.....NAIA Indoor All-American in the 3K racewalk after placing second. High School -- Four-time state qualifer in cross country and track & field for Sheffield-Chapin/Meservey-Thornton High School.....four-year letter winner in both sports.....earned a spot on the Iowa All-State Academic Cross Country Team.....member of two North Central Conference championship track teams.....three-time USA Track & Field Junior All-American in the racewalk.....placed 2nd in the Junior Division 5K walk (25:07) at the 1999 Penn Relays.....Valedictorian in high school. Personal -- Dean's Honor List student as a Biology/Pre-Medicine major at Cedarville University.....born 10/11/80.....daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Bruce Rulapaugh.....Has two older brothers and an older sister.
