Drew Bennett is in his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets as one of the team's key reserves.....played in 23 games as a junior with two starts at first base.....handled 47 fielding chances without an error.....recognized as an American Mideast Conference Scholar-Athlete. 2000 - Played in 34 games as a sophomore.....29 of his 31 starts came at first base.....batted .244 with 12 RBI.....assembled a team-high eight-game hitting streak.....led the squad with a .984 fielding percentage..... 1999 - Appeared in 23 games with 20 starts as a freshman.....started 18 games at second base and posted a .961 fielding percentage.....batted .220 with 13 hits in 59 at bats.....hit safely in eight of his final 12 games including one streak of four straight. High School - Played four seasons of baseball and earned three letters at Pettisville High School.....team MVP as a senior, named to the all-conference first team, and played in the District I All-Star game.....batted .400 as a senior and .398 during his junior season.
