Bryan Mangin returns for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets and has been one of the top hitters in the program during his previous three years.....versatile player who has experience behind the plate, at third base, shortstop, and on the mound.....has started all 117 games in which he has played..... batted a career-high .377 as a junior with a school-record 52 hits and team-highs of 138 at bats and 25 RBI's.....All-NCCAA Midwest Region selection and American Mideast Conference honorable mention.....had 12 multi-hit games, seven contests of two or more RBI's, and ended the season with a team-high eight-game hitting streak.....went 4-for-5 in a 15-11 win over AMC foe Geneva and had a 5-for-5 performance versus Capital. 2000 - Produced an outstanding sophomore season in which he batted .323 with five home runs and a school-record 34 runs batted in.....voted All-NCCAA Midwest Region and AMC honorable mention.....started all 43 games in which he played and batted in the clean-up spot.....collected a team-high 43 hits which was the fifth-highest total in school history.....had a team-high 13 multi-hit games with four three-hit efforts and a season-high seven-game hitting streak.....drove in at least two runs in nine games including four RBI against Saint Vincent.....made 10 appearances on the mound with a 1-4 record. 1999 - Started all 31 games in which he played as a freshman and was AMC honorable mention.....made 27 starts at shortstop and five on the mound.....batted .258 with two homers, 11 RBI's, and 12 runs scored.....recorded four two-hit games and produced a six-game hitting streak.....posted a 1-3 pitching record with a 6.43 ERA. High School - Three-sport athlete at Plumstead Christian High School earning four letters in baseball, four in basketball, and one in soccer.....four-time all-conference baseball player and two-time MVP.....garnered all-league honors in both basketball and soccer. Personal - Criminal Justice major at Cedarville University.....born 10/14/80 in Abington, PA.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mangin.....younger brother, Eric, played as a freshman with the Yellow Jackets during the 2001 season.....has another younger brother.
