Alan Bruder is a two-year letter winner with the Yellow Jackets, who finished the 2000 season in the #5 position.....ran a career-best 26:45 and placed 9th overall at the Wilmington Invitational.....finished 15th in the American Mideast Conference Championship in 27:38. 1999 -- Saw action in five varsity meets during his first collegiate season and was among CU's top seven runners three times.....team's #6 finisher with a season-best time of 26:53 in the 8K at the Wilmington Invitational.....squad's #6 runner in his collegiate debut at Rio Grande. High School -- Four-year letter winner in both cross country and track & field at Ogemaw Heights High School.....All-State cross country runner as a senior and three-time Academic All-State.....was All-Conference First Team as a junior and senior and earned Second Team honors as a sophomore.....member of three league championship teams and two regional title squads.....three-time conference track champion.....school was state track runner-up twice, won the regional four times, and the conference three times during his career. Personal -- Dean's Honor List student as a Management Information Systems major.....born 5/20/81 in Kalamazoo, MI.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bruder.....has one younger brother and a younger sister.
