Amy Martin has played in all but two matches during her first three seasons in the program and will again assume a key role on the Lady Jackets front line.....named to the American Mideast Conference Second Team as a junior.....second on the team in 2000 with 408 kills, 38 solo blocks, 75 block assists and 113 total blocks....posted her 1000th career kill at Huntington to become one of just eight players to reach that plateau.....her 1,060 career kills places her eighth all-time at Cedarville.....pounded double figures in kills 20 times with a season-high 23 against Mount Vernon Nazarene at the NCCAA National Tournament.....twice recorded seven blocks in a match.....ranks fourth all-time in block assists (225), fifth all-time in total blocks (317) and sixth all-time in solo blocks (92). 1999 -- Earned American Mideast Conference honorable mention recognition as a sophomore.....ranked third on the team with 3.12 kills per game and ranked 11th in the the AMC with a .315 attack percentage.....pounded a career-high 28 kills in a five-game marathon loss at Malone.....posted double figures in kills in 23 of 39 matches played.....registered 10 total blocks in a match at Ohio Dominican.....was second on the team with 118 total blocks. 1998 -- Appeared in all 44 matches with 156 games played for the Lady Jackets AMC title team.....recorded 215 kills and ranked third in block assists with 76.....drilled a season-high 21 kills against Grace during the Cedarville Invitational. High School -- Enjoyed an outstanding career in volleyball and basketball at Southeastern High School.....named All-Ohio First Team as a senior and All-Ohio Second Team as a junior.....two-time Clark County Player of the Year.....also earned all-conference, district, and area honors her final two seasons.....graduated as school's all-time kills leader.....All-Ohio Third Team basketball player as a senior and shared Clark County Miss Basketball honors.....member of 1996 Ohio Division IV title team as a sophomore while playing for her father.....played for the Lady Jacket hoop squad as a freshman with plans to rejoin the team this coming season to play for her father, who was named head coach. Personal -- Carries an Early Childhood Education major at Cedarville University.....born 8/3/80 in Springfield, OH.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Martin.....father is a member of the Cedarville Athletic Hall of Fame.....has one younger sister and a younger brother.
