Heather van der Aa has established herself to be one of the most prolific hitters in the history of Lady Jacket volleyball.....on track to become Cedarville's all-time career leader in kills.....named to the NCCAA All-America Second Team, NCCAA National All-Tournament Team, NAIA Region IX First Team, NCCAA All-Midwest Region Team, and the American Mideast Conference First Team last fall.....played in all 43 matches and all 143 games.....recorded double figures in kills in 36 of the 43 matches including the final 13 outings of the season.....drilled a season and career-high 29 kills against Mount Vernon Nazarene at the NCCAA National Tournament....led the AMC with a .405 attack percentage and ranked second with 4.43 kills per game.....ranks first all-time at CU in attack percentage (.369), second in kills (1,677), kills per game (3.91), blocks per game (0.97), and third in block assists (258) and total blocks (417).

1999 -- Became the sixth Cedarville player to reach 1,000 career kills versus Olivet Nazarene at the NCCAA National Tournament.....voted to the NCCAA All-America Second Team, the NCCAA National All-Tournament Team, the NAIA Region IX Second Team, and the American Mideast Conference First Team.....recorded team highs of 3.68 kills, ranking fifth in the AMC, and 1.10 blocks per game, which rated eighth in the league.....drilled a season-high 25 kills in a five-game loss to Malone.....begins the season as the school's career attack percentage leader with a .349 accuracy.....also starts the year with 1,043 career kills which ranks sixth all-time at Cedarville and is poised to become the all-time leader....posted 11 total blocks, including a school-record 10 block assists, in a three-game sweep of Rio Grande.

1998 -- Helped the Lady Jackets to a share of the AMC championship and was voted the AMC Freshman of the Year.....also named to the All-AMC Second Team.....led the team with 554 kills for a 3.62 per game average and a .359 attack percentage.....team leader with 58 solo blocks.....posted double figures in kills in 29 of the 44 matches played.....registered a career-high 27 kills against Mount Vernon Nazarene in the NCCAA National Tournament.

High School -- Earned four letters in volleyball at Calvary Baptist Academy where she holds all of the school's kills records......also holds match and season records for blocks.....played on two Illinois Association of Christian Schools state championship teams.....achieved multiple tournament MVP honors.....member of a 1997 Club Team that finished third at the USA Junior Nationals.

Personal -- Pursuing a degree in Exercise Science at Cedarville University.....born 4/6/80 in South Holland, IL.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence van der Aa.....has one older sister.
