Amy Martin returns to the Lady Jacket basketball program to play for her father.....member of the of 1998-99 squad as a freshman.....assembled an outstanding four-year volleyball career at Cedarville.....one of only eight players in school history to record 1,000 career kills.....ranks fifth all-time in kills and fourth in total blocks.....two-time American Mideast Conference Second Team selection.....All-NCCAA Midwest Region pick in 1999. 1998-99 - Martin averaged 4.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game after joining the squad following the volleyball season.....recorded career-highs of 19 points and 13 rebounds versus NAIA Division II national champion Shawnee State.....scored 16 points in an AMC playoff win over Point Park.....tallied 12 points with 12 rebounds in a victory at Notre Dame. High School - Enjoyed an outstanding career in volleyball and basketball at Southeastern High School.....All-Ohio Third Team basketball player as a senior averaging 10.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.....shared 1998 Clark County Miss Basketball honors.....twice named to the All-Southwest District Division IV First Team, the All-Clark County Team, and the All-Kenton Trace Conference Team.....played three seasons for her father.....member of 1996 Ohio Division IV state championship team as a sophomore.....two-time all-state volleyball player by being.....named All-Ohio First Team as a senior and All-Ohio Second Team as a junior.....two-time Clark County Player of the Year.....also earned all-conference, district, and area honors her final two seasons.....graduated as school's all-time kills leader. Personal -- Carries an Early Childhood Education major at Cedarville University.....born 8/3/80 in Springfield, OH.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Martin.....father is a member of the Cedarville Athletic Hall of Fame.....has one younger sister and a younger brother.
