Kirsten Rossotti returns to the Lady Jackets after taking a year off from basketball.....begins the season on track to become the 10th player in school history to surpass 1,000 career points.....CU's all-time free throw percentage leader with a .789 accuracy.....played in all 33 games with 25 starts as a sophomore.....ranked third on the team in scoring at 11.8 ppg and was second in rebounding at 6.9 rpg.....led the team with 39 blocked shots.....made 140 of 182 free throws for a .769 percentage on a team that converted a school-record .752 of its charity tosses.....scored in double figures 20 times with three double-doubles.....matched her career-high with 34 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a win over Geneva.....netted 19 points and equalled her career-high of 16 rebounds in a victory against Roberts Wesleyan. 1998-99 - Rossotti made her presence felt immediately in Lady Jacket basketball by being named Co-Freshman of the Year in the American Mideast Conference.....voted to the All-AMC Second Team.....averaged team-highs of 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds while shooting .538 from the field and .809 at the charity stripe.....played in all 31 games with 24 starts.....her free throw accuracy ranked second in the AMC and 16th nationally in NAIA Division I.....made more free throws (152) than any other player in the league.....rejected a team-high 28 shots.....recorded ten double-doubles and scored in double figures 23 times.....racked up a career-high 34 points and 15 rebounds at NAIA Division II national champion Shawnee State.....set a school record by making all 12 of her free throws and scoring 21 points with 13 rebounds in a win over nationally-ranked Central State in the finals of the Cedarville Invitational.....had 29 points and a career-high 16 rebounds at Mount Vernon Nazarene.....made 15-of-16 free throws and totaled 25 points and 14 boards in an AMC playoff win over Point Park. High School -- Rossotti produced an outstanding career at James Caldwell High School.....named to the All-State Third Team as a sophomore and a senior which includes all divisions of basketball in New Jersey.....graduated as Caldwell's all-time leader in scoring with 2,400 points and rebounding with 1,703 boards.....recognized as New Jersey's 10th all-time leading scorer and ranked 3rd all-time in Essex County.....averaged 21 points and 14 rebounds for her career including 29 points per game as a senior.....scored 47 points in one game her final season.....member of 1996 state championship team.....three-time All-County and two-time All-Conference selection.....also earned letters in cross country, soccer, and track & field. Personal -- Dean's List student as a Communication Arts major at Cedarville University.....born 7/20/80 in West Caldwell, NJ.....has one older brother.
