Amber Bungart enters her third season with the Lady Jackets after tranferring from Baker College in Michigan.....played in all 21 matches last fall with 13 starts.....ranked third on the team with seven goals scored and added one assist.....her 15 total points rated fifth on the squad.....scored a career-high three goals, which matched the second-highest single-game effort in CU history, in an AMC win over Shawnee State.....netted the first goal of the season in a 5-1 win at Marian and scored the last one of the campaign in a 4-0 victory over Roberts Wesleyan at the NCCAA National Tournament. 1999 -- Started all 14 matches as sophomore in her first season at CU and tied for third in scoring with five goals for 10 points.....scored twice in a 7-0 conference win at Urbana.....netted her first goal in a 5-0 non-league victory over Marietta in the home opener. High School -- Bungart earned one letter in soccer at Oxford Christian Academy.....named to the Michigan Association of Christian Schools First Team and to the All-County squad.....selected Team MVP after scoring nine goals with ten assists. Personal -- Dean's List student as a Biology major at Cedarville University.....2001 recipient of the Austin Elmore Award in plant biology.....born 8/15/80 in Michigan.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bungart.....has one younger sister.
