Erin Nehus has the credentials to be the finest female distance runner that Cedarville University has ever had.....NAIA Indoor All-American this winter in the 5,000 meters by placing 4th in 17:54.72.....holds the school record for the indoor 1,000 meters in 3:07.72.....defending NCCAA champion outdoors in the 3K (10:41.36) and 5K (18:25.95).....two-time defending American Mideast Conference 1,500 meter champ.....three-time NAIA All-American in cross country.....placed 3rd at the 2001 national meet to pace the Lady Jackets to the NAIA championship.....three-time NCCAA All-American in cross country.....claimed the NCCAA and AMC individual titles last fall.....cross country team's #1 runner in every meet during her career. High School - Put together a record-setting career at Gallia Academy.....All-Ohio performer in cross country and on the track in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs.....four-time team MVP in both cross country and track & field.....holds the school record in the 800 meters at 2:25.....earned All-Southeast Ohio Athletic League honors during each of her four years.....garnered All-Ohio Academic recognition and was Valedictorian of her graduating class. Personal - NAIA and NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete in cross country.....Dean's List student as an exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 3/16/81 in Northridge, CA.....daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harry Nehus.....older brother, Eddie, graduated from CU in 2001 as a three-time NAIA All-American.
