Jennifer Nikerle stepped right into the Lady Jacket roster as a rookie during the 2000 season and finished among the team's top seven runners in all eight meets in which she competed.....turned in a career-best time of 19:17 for the 5K at the NCCAA Nationals where she was CU's #3 runner and placed 18th overall.....ran under 20:00 four times.....placed 10th in the Friendship Invitational in 19:48.....Jackets' #2 runner in the All-Ohio placing 53rd out of 249 runners in 20:44.....posted identical times of 20:01 in the American Mideast Conference Championship and the NAIA Nationals. High School -- Assembled an outstanding prep career at Walton High School.....paced her team to the Georgia Class AAAA state championship as a senior.....squad also took the region and county titles.....Marietta Journal cross country Runner of the Year her final season and team MVP.....earned All-State and All-Metro recognition.....Cobb County cross country champion.....four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field.....Scholar-Athlete who graduated with honors.
