Jen Roman begins her second season with the Lady Jackets after making a major contribution during her first year of collegiate cross country last fall.....finished among the team's top seven runners in the final eight meets on the schedule and was the squad's #3 finisher in three of the last four.....earned American Mideast Conference honors upon placing 7th overall in 19:49.....ran a career-best 19:31 and placed 24th at the NCCAA Nationals.....two-year member of the tennis team, who posted a 13-6 record at #3 singles last spring for the AMC championship squad.....had a 12-4 record at #6 singles as a freshman. High School -- Assembled an impressive three-sport career at Marcus Whitman High School.....earned three letters in tennis, four in track & field, and two in basketball.....played #1 doubles and #2 singles.....three-time Finger Lakes West All-Star in tennis and achieved the honor four times in track.....member of three league championship tennis teams and one Section V title squad.....listed third in the section singles rankings.....part of 4 x 800 meter relay quartet that holds the school record.....member of a Section V basketball championship team. Personal -- Dean's List student as a Physical Education major at Cedarville University.....born 9/9/81 in Canandaigua, NY.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Roman.....has two older sisters and two younger brothers.
