Katie Rulapaugh is in her third season with the Lady Jacket cross country and track & field programs.....competed in six varsity meets as a sophomore.....turned in a season-low 21:43 effort at the Wilmington Invitational.....finished her rookie year as the team's #7 runner.....ran in seven varsity meets breaking the 21:00 mark in the 5K five times with a career-best 20:12 at Wilmington.....NAIA Indoor All-American in the 3K racewalk after placing second at the 2000 national meet. High School -- Four-time state qualifer in cross country and track & field for Sheffield-Chapin/Meservey-Thornton High School.....four-year letter winner in both sports.....earned a spot on the Iowa All-State Academic Cross Country Team.....member of two North Central Conference championship track teams.....three-time USA Track & Field Junior All-American in the racewalk.....placed 2nd in the Junior Division 5K walk (25:07) at the 1999 Penn Relays.....Valedictorian in high school. Personal -- Dean's Honor List student as a Biology major at Cedarville University.....born 10/11/80 in St. Paul, MN.....daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Bruce Rulapaugh.....has two older brothers and an older sister.
