Heidi Wright has two years of varsity experience with the Lady Jackets.....finished among the team's top seven runners in all nine meets last fall.....ran a season-low 19:55 in back-to-back weeks in the Friendship Invitational and Greensboro Invitational.....was clocked in less than 21:00 for the 5K in eight outings.....placed 15th at the American Mideast Conference Championship in 20:24.....made an immediate contribution as a rookie as the team's #4 runner.....ran in all eight varsity meets finishing with a career-best 19:40 at the NCCAA Nationals placing 33rd overall.....finished 14th at the AMC meet in 19:53. High School -- Four-year letter winner in both cross country and track at Southfield Christian High School.....earned All-State cross country honors as a freshman, junior, and senior.....three-time conference cross country champion and won the regional as a sophomore.....school swept the conference cross country and track titles in each of her four years.....won league and regional track titles in the 1,600 meters.....National Honor Society recipient.....Homecoming Queen. Personal -- Carries a Middle Childhood Education major at Cedarville University.....born 11/17/80 in Southfield, MI.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wright.....has two older sisters.
