Nov. 17, at NAIA Nationals
Erin Nehus was one of three Lady Jacket All-America runners as Cedarville captured their first NAIA national title in any sport by winning the NAIA Women's Cross Country Championship. Elvin King, who is in his 33rd year as head coach at CU, was voted NAIA National Coach of the Year. The Lady Jackets totaled 147 points to outrun second-place Concordia NE, who had 169 points. Hastings NE was third with 173 points. Nehus earned All-America honors for the third straight time by touring the 5,000 meters in 18:16 to place 3rd. Joining the junior on the All-America unit were Jennifer Tetrick, who was 12th in 18:36, and Heidi Wright, who finished 29th in 18:53. The top 30 finishers are All-Americans. Others running for the Jackets were Sarah Roberts (59th; 19:25), Kim McNeilance (83rd; 19:46), Abigail Winburn (113th; 20:05), and Jen Roman (136th; 20:15). There were 28 teams and 238 competitors in all. CU claimed the national title without a senior among the top seven runners. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Nov. 10, NCCAA NATIONALS
Erin Nehus won the individual title in leading Cedarville to the National Christian College Athletic Association championship. The Yellow Jackets, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, had 38 points for top honors in the 22-team field. Malone finished with 63 points while defending champion Spring Arbor had 110. Nehus joined two-time winner Jane Romig, Krista Pritchard, Michelle Burson, and Julianne Pletcher as NCCAA champions from Cedarville. She toured the 5,000 meters in 18:19. Other Lady Jackets earning All-American recognition for finishing among the Top 15 were Jennifer Tetrick (4th; 18:42), Heidi Wright (5th; 18:43), and Sarah Roberts (8th; 18:54). Jen Roman was 22nd in 19:45 to round out the CU scoring. Elvin King was tabbed NCCAA Coach of the Year in guiding the Jackets to their fourth overall title and their first since 1996. Nov. 3, at American Mideast Conference
Erin Nehus was the individual winner as NAIA No. 2 Cedarville repeated as American Mideast Conference champions. The Lady Jackets had 33 points while runner-up Malone tallied 43 points in the 13-team field. Nehus covered the 5,000 meters in 18:28 and was joined in the CU top five by Jennifer Tetrick (4th; 18:51), Sarah Roberts (6th; 19:02), Heidi Wright (7th; 19:15), and Abigail Winburn (15th; 19:46). Oct. 19, at Wilmington Classic
Erin Nehus won her third individual title of the season to pace NAIA No. 1 Cedarville to the Wilmington Classic championship. The junior two-time NAIA All-American covered the 5,000 meters in 18:17. The Lady Jackets placed nine runners among the first 13 finishers. Others scoring for CU were Jennifer Tetrick (2nd; 18:19), Heidi Wright (3rd; 18:27), Sarah Roberts (6th; 19:11), and Jennifer Nikerle (7th; 19:41). Cedarville totaled 17 points and was followed by Hanover, 66, and host Wilmington, 84, in the 12-team field.

Oct. 5, at All-Ohio Championship
The Lady Jackets, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, placed 3rd in the All-Ohio Championship behind Kent State and Toledo. Erin Nehus finished 9th out of 239 competitors in 18:45 for the 5,000 meters. Others scoring for CU were Jennifer Tetrick (16th; 19:06), Heidi Wright (19th; 19:13), Sarah Roberts (32nd; 19:37), and Kim McNeilance (50th; 19:58). Kent State had 59 points and was followed in the top five by Toledo, 89; Cedarville, 126; Ohio State, 177; and Xavier, 185. [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Sept. 29, at Greensboro Invitational
The Lady Jackets, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, won the Greensboro Invitational for the second straight year led by Erin Nehus, who claimed the individual title by covering the 5,000 meters in 18:35. Cedarville totaled 16 points and was followed by Alabama-Huntsville with 49 points and Otterbein at 79. Lady Jacket runners followed Nehus in positions 2, 3, 4, and 6. That quarter included Jennifer Tetrick, 18:43; Sarah Roberts, 18:53; Heidi Wright, 18:54; and Kim McNeilance, 19:42.

Sept. 22, 11th ANNUAL FRIENDSHIP INVITATIONAL
The Lady Jackets, ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, repeated as champions of their 11th Annual Friendship Invitational by having four of the top six individual finishers in the race. Cedarville tallied 33 points to outrun NCAA Division I Wright State, who finished with 75 points, while Findlay was third in the 12-team field with 111 points. Erin Nehus placed 2nd for CU with a time of 18:34 for the 5,000 meters. Others scoring for the Jackets were Jennifer Tetrick (3rd; 18:49), Heidi Wright (4th; 18:51), Sarah Roberts (6th; 19:06), and Renee Rall (18th; 19:33). [COMPLETE RESULTS]

Sept. 15, at Midwest Collegiate Championship
Two-time NAIA All-American Erin Nehus won the Midwest Collegiate Championship and the Lady Jackets placed sixth out of 24 schools. The junior from Gallipolis, OH covered the 5,000 meters in 18:05 to win the meet by two seconds. Others to score for CU were Jennifer Tetrick (9th; 18:40), Sarah Roberts (32nd; 19:07), Renee Rall (51st; 19:24), and Heidi Wright (57th; 19:33). Calvin won the meet with 60 points and was followed by Grand Valley State, 78; Edinboro, 93; Wisconsin-LaCrosse, 123; Northern Michigan, 129; Cedarville, 135; and host Wisconsin-Parkside, 157.

Sept. 1, at Rio Grande Invitational
The Lady Jackets, pre-season ranked No. 5 in the NAIA, opened their season at Rio Grande in a non-scoring meet. Cedarville copped the top seven places. The list included Jennifer Tetrick with a time of 19:46 for the 5,000 meters and she was followed by Sarah Roberts (19:58), Heidi Wright (20:00), Kim McNeilance (20:43), Jen Roman (21:10), Jennifer Nikerle (21:15), and Renee Rall (21:24).
