Jacob Richardson enters his third season as a member of the Cedarville pitching staff.....appeared in 13 games with five starts as a sophomore on the mound for the Yellow Jackets. 2001 - Put together an impressive freshman season on the mound.....voted to the NCCAA All-Midwest Region Team.....registered a 4-5 record with a 4.41 ERA.....made 10 appearances with eight starts and one complete game.....struck out 31 batters in 49 innings pitched.....won his first two collegiate decisions including a 4-3 win at Transylvania in the season opener. High School - Earned three letters during a four-year baseball career at Stebbins High School.....registered a 3.50 ERA on the mound as a senior and was an honorable mention pick in the Mid-Miami League.....played four seasons of basketball with two letters.....recognized by the Society of Academic Excellence for three years.....four-year scholar-athlete. Personal - Management Information Systems major at Cedarville University.....born 4/26/82 in Dayton, OH.....son of Rev. and Mrs. Jim Richardson.....has one older sister and an older brother.
