  • Tom Simon has played in every match during his first three seasons in the program.....shot a career-best 74 at the Central State University Invitational last season....recorded rounds of 87-82-78 to finish tied for 26th with a score of 247 at the American Mideast Conference Championships....finished 20th at the 21st Annual Cedarville University Invitational with rounds of 86 and 76....round of 81 tied for 22nd place at the Shawnee State University Invitational....posted a season average of 81.2....named an NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete....also earned American Mideast Conference Scholar-Athlete honors.

    2001 - Held down the #5 position as a sophomore with an 83.8 average.....finished the campaign with a career-best 78 at the AMC Championships.....tied for team-best honors with an 80 at the Shawnee State Invitational.....averaged 80.5 strokes over his last four rounds.....shot 83 or better seven times.

    2000 - One of only two players to play all 14 competitive rounds during the 2000 schedule.....averaged 86.2 strokes per 18 holes with eight rounds at 85 or lower.....carded a season-low 81 in the AMC Championships.....fired an 82 at Walsh.

    High School - Four-year letter winner in golf and baseball at Open Door Christian High School.....team's No.1 golfer who averaged 38 strokes per 9 holes and 79 per 18.....posted a .450 batting average in baseball.....National Honor Society student.

    Personal - Dean Honor List student as a management and finance double major at Cedarville University.....born 1/12/81 in Elyria, OH.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Simon.....has one older sister and two younger brothers.
