Greg Guiler is one of the Yellow Jackets' key backcourt players with two years of experience as a starter.....averaged 9.4 points and 3.2 assists as a sophomore.....appeared in all 37 games with 32 starts.....ranked second on the team in free throw accuracy (.764) and his charity toss with 1.3 seconds left gave CU a 72-71 win over Grace in the NCCAA Midwest Region final.....exploded for a career-high 35 points in a victory at Wilberforce.....scored 23 points, including a game-tying three-pointer at the regulation buzzer, in an overtime win at Christian Heritage.....reached double figures in scoring 17 times.....netted 23 points in an 88-83 win at NAIA Division II No. 10 Taylor. 2000-01 - Stepped right into the starting point guard slot as a freshman.....played in all 30 games with 29 starts.....averaged 9.1 points per game and ranked third in the American Mideast Conference with 5.2 assists per contest.....scored in double figures 12 times including a season-high 22 points against Central State.....dished out a career-high 13 assists against Trevecca Nazarene and tallied 10 more in a win at Wilberforce.....averaged 11.5 points in his last 11 games.....had eight games of at least seven assists.....voted to the Taylor Classic All-Tournament Team. High School - Guiler was named to the All-Ohio Division III Second Team as a senior after leading Canal Winchester High School to conference, district, and regional championships.....four-year letter winner in basketball and earned another in baseball.....three-time team MVP and team captain who graduated as school's second all-time leading scorer.....averaged 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists his final season while shooting 50 percent outside the arc.....two-time all-district first team and three-time all-conference first team selection.....played in the district all-star game.....National Honor Society student.....valedictorian of graduating class and recognized as school's Senior of the Year.....two-time conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year.....two-time Lancaster Eagle Gazette Scholar-Athlete of the Year.....Columbus Dispatch Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Personal - Dean's Honor List student as a Bible pre-seminary major at Cedarville University.....received the 2002 Don and Nedra Callan Sports Ministry Award for his evangelism in and through sports activities while at the institution.....born 1/20/81 in Columbus, OH.....son of Mr. and Mrs. G.
