Andy Goodenough enters his second season in the Cedarville track & field program as a middle distance runner focusing on the 800 meters.....placed 3rd in the American Mideast Conference with a career-best time of 1:55.50.....finished 2nd at the Wilmington Classic in 1:56.81.....best indoor time was 1:59.20 at Denison.....coming off of a sophomore cross country season in which he was the team's #6 runner.....had a season-low time of 27:20 for the 8K at the Wilmington Classic.....placed 34th at the NCCAA Nationals in 27:29. 2001 - Struggled through his freshman cross country season with injuries.....saw action in five varsity meets.....team's #6 finisher at the Wilmington Classic with a career-best time of 27:18. High School - Produced an outstanding career at Hemlock High School.....four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field with two more in basketball.....all-state cross country runner as a senior and his team was state runner-up.....squad won conference, county, and regional championships during all four years of his career.....three-time all-state performer on the track in the two-mile relay and was a member of a pair of state title quartets.....all-state in the 800 meters as a senior by placing 2nd and was Team MVP for the 2001 campaign.....selected to the Team Michigan Track Team that competed at the Midwest Meet of Champions.....graduated with school records in the 400 meters (50.5) and the mile relay (3:26).....member of one regional championship track & field team and one basketball district title squad. Personal - Born 11/12/82 in Saginaw, MI.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Goodenough.....has two older brothers and an older sister.
