Robert Gardner was a four-year athlete in cross country and track during his prep career at Onsted High School.....qualified for the state cross country meet as a senior after earning all-region, all-county, and all-conference first team honors.....two-time Team MVP and posted a career-best 17:21 in the 5K.....selected MVP of the track squad as a senior and qualified for the state meet in the 3,200 meters.....recognized with all-region and all-conference first-team honors.....regional medalist in the 3,200 as a sophomore.....National Honor Society student.
