Josh Mark is back for his fourth season as a Yellow Jacket and ran in the #1 position last fall.....placed 7th in the Friendship Invitational in a career-low 26:14 for the 8K.....finished 35th of 350 runners at the Midwest Collegiate in 26:18.....qualified for the NAIA Nationals and turned in a 27:17 effort for 111th place of 240 competitors.....ran the 3,000 meter steeplechase for the track team.....finished 2nd in the NCCAA and 3rd in the American Mideast Conference.

2000 - Competed in six varsity meets as a sophomore.....team's #6 finisher in the Friendship Invitational placing 30th overall with a season-best time of 27:30.....ran the steeplechase for the track & field team.....placed 3rd in the event at the AMC meet and was 6th at the NCCAA Nationals.....member of 4 x 800 meter AMC title quartet that won for the second straight year.

1999 - Competed in five varsity meets during his freshman season with the Yellow Jackets.....turned in a career-best time of 27:24 in the 8K at the Friendship Invitational as the team's #4 runner.....hampered by a mid-season ankle sprain.....ran the middle distances for the outdoor track team.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country and track at Dayton Christian High School.....part of a state runner-up 4 x 800 meter relay team.....posted personal bests of 1:56.3 in the 800 meters and 16:30 in the 5K.....high school teammate of Justin Whitaker, who is also a senior for the Yellow Jackets.

Personal - Carries a mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 5/9/81 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Imie Mark, Jr.....has one older brother.
