Mark Swan was a four-time letter winner in cross country and track at Mt. Ararat High School.....three-time all-conference and All-Eastern Maine Region runner.....turned in a personal-best cross country time of 16:37 for the 5,000 meters.....member of three league championship teams and one regional title squad.....two-time indoor state track runner-up in the 800 meters.....named all-state in indoor track as a junior and senior.....Eastern Maine Regional champion in the 800; 1,600; 4 x 400; and 4 x 800.....member of state record-setting 4 x 800 meter relay team.....all-conference runner on the track specializing in the middle distances.....part of three regional track & field championship teams and one team that won the conference crown.....achieved scholar-athlete recognition.

Personal - Carries a communications major at Cedarville University.....born 9/22/83 in Rockport, ME.....son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Swan.....has five younger brothers and a younger sister.
