Julie Burt is back for her fourth season in the program and is one of two seniors on the roster.....lefthander is coming off of her best campaign as a pitcher.....had a 6-7 record with one streak of wins in four straight decisions.....ranked seventh in the American Mideast Conference at 4.86 strikeouts per 7 innings and was 12th in earned run average at 2.11.....tossed a complete-game 5-0 shutout over Grace at the Sun West Tournament in California.....fanned a career-high eight batters in a 1-0, four-hitter versus Wilmington.....picked up a 3-2 win in relief over Spring Arbor at the NCCAA Midwest Regional.

2001 - Most improved player on the team.....lefthander was 1-3 with a 5.93 ERA as a sophomore in 11 appearances.....made five starts with a complete-game 6-2 win over American Mideast Conference foe Notre Dame.

2000 - Made 11 appearances as a freshman with eight starts, two complete games, and a 3.65 ERA.....demonstrated good control by walking only three batters in her final seven games.....pitched the final two innings of a 5-0 NAIA Region IX victory over the College of West Virginia.

High School - Enjoyed a successful prep softball career at Pike High School in Indianapolis.....earned three letters in four seasons and was selected team MVP as a senior.....named to the all-county and all-city teams her final season and was a City-County All-Star.

Personal - Carries an End-User Information Systems major at Cedarville University.....born 2/11/81 in Waterloo, IA.....daughter of Rev. and Mrs. James Burt.....older brother, Robb, played two years of basketball for the Yellow Jackets.....has a younger sister and a younger brother.
