Annie Stafford is a veteran outfielder for the Lady Jackest, who returns for her third season.....started all 51 games in which she played last spring in right field.....tied for the team lead with a school-record 163 at bats and posted a .319 average.....ranked first on the squad with 52 hits and was third in runs batted in with 21.....tied for the top spot with 14 multi-hit games including a pair of three-hit performances.....struck out only seven times. 2001 - Played in 34 games with 33 starts in right field as a rookie.....batted .224 with a team-high eight doubles, 12 RBI's, and 16 runs scored.....hit second in the line-up and drove in two or more runs four times.....strong throwing arm with six outfield assists. High School - Earned four letters each in softball and volleyball during her high school career at Highlands Christian Academy.....member of 1999 regional championship softball squad that advanced to the state Final Four.....earned all-state honors as a junior.....all-county performer in the outfield her final three seasons.....acquired all-county recognition in volleyball her junior year.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Dean's List student as a communication arts major at Cedarville University.....born 1/20/82 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stafford.....older sister, Abby, is a senior at CU and previously played two seasons as an outfielder for the Lady Jackets.....has one younger sister.
