Christa Stanford is coming off an outstanding sophomore season in which she batted .325 with 23 runs batted in.....started all 47 games in which she played with 46 of those starts in left field.....tied for the team lead with four three-hit games to go along with six two-hit efforts.....had four games of two or more RBI's including four in a win at Point Park.....posted a nine-game hitting streak. 2001 - Hit .213 in 18 games as a freshman with 14 starts.....finished the year as the team's hottest hitter batting .471 over the final eight games. High School - Produced a three-sport prep career at Colville High School.....four-year letter winner in softball as part of a championship program.....all-conference second team outfielder in each of her final two seasons.....posted a .325 career batting average.....team was a state qualifier her senior year after claiming league, district, and regional titles.....club was seventh in the state with league and district crowns in 1999.....squad placed third in the state her freshman and sophomore campaigns with league and district titles in 1998 and another league trophy in 1997.....two-year letter winner in both basketball and volleyball.....National Honor Society student.
