Danielle Davidson enters her final soccer season at Cedarville and has again been named one of the team's captains.....has started all 57 matches over the past three years....fourth all-time at CU in matches played.....defensive efforts helped tie Cedarville single-season record of seven shutouts set during her sophomore season.....repeated as team's Most Valuable Defensive Player.....NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete. 2000 - Named one of the team's captains.....started all 35 matches over the past two years.....played all 21 matches in the back and scored a goal in the season opener at Marian.....shared team's Most Valuable Defensive Player honors with Cindy Probus.....part of a defensive unit that produced seven shutouts and allowed just one goal in seven other outings. 1999 - Made a significant contribution as a rookie.....only defender to start all 14 matches in 1999.....Lady Jacket defense notched four shutouts and held three other opponents to one goal.....ran the 400 meter hurdles for the women's track & field team. High School - Accumulated two letters in soccer and three more in track & field at Williamsville East High School.....recognized as the soccer program's Exceptional Senior and was part of a 4 x 800 meter relay team that set a school record on the track.....National Honor Society recipient. Personal - Carries an English and Spanish double major at Cedarville University.....born 7/31/81 in Philadelphia, PA.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Davidson.....has two younger brothers.
