Jen Roman is another veteran player for the Lady Jackets, who has posted a 35-16 singles record during her first three years in the program.....registered a 10-6 singles mark last spring playing in the #4 slot.....added a 7-3 doubles record in the #2 position alongside partner Carrie Harmman. 2001 - Played in the #3 spot as a sophomore with a 13-6 record.....part of the #2 doubles tandem that registered an 8-3 mark along side 2001 graduate Jenny Elliott. 2000 - Experienced an outstanding rookie campaign at the #6 singles position with a 12-4 record.....notched Cedarville's only singles point at the NAIA Nationals with a 6-0, 6-2 victory against Palm Beach Atlantic.....had a 2-0 record in limited doubles action. High School - Assembled an impressive three-sport career at Marcus Whitman High School.....earned three letters in tennis, four in track & field, and two in basketball.....played #1 doubles and #2 singles.....three-time Finger Lakes West All-Star in tennis and achieved the honor four times in track.....member of three league championship tennis teams and one Section V title squad.....listed third in the section singles rankings.....part of 4 x 800 meter relay quartet that holds the school record.....member of a Section V basketball championship team.....National Honor Society student. Personal - Member of the Lady Jacket cross country team that won the 2001 NAIA national championship.....consistently ran among the team's top seven runners.....finished the 2000 cross country season as the #3 runner on CU's nationally-ranked squad that placed 8th at the NAIA Nationals.....placed 7th individually in the American Mideast Conference meet to earn All-AMC honors.....Dean's List student as a Physical Education major at Cedarville University.....born 9/9/81 in Canandaigua, NY.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Roman.....has two older sisters and two younger brothers.
