Michaela (Cernetic) Bolton returns to the Lady Jackets following two outstanding seasons in the throws.....provisional qualifier in the hammer with a throw of 145-feet and 4-inches at the Butler Invitational.....placed 4th in the hammer at the NCCAA Championships with a toss of 146-feet and 4-inches.....finished 5th in the hammer with a toss of 145-feet and and 6-inches at the AMC Championships..... tossed a career-best hammer throw of 147-feet and 6-inches at the Indiana Invitational.....threw the shot put a distance of 35-feet and 10 3/4-inches to place 10th in the NCCAA Championships.....discus throw of 101-feet and 6-inches was 15th at the NCCAA Championships.

2001 - NCCAA At-Large All-American in the hammer by posting one of the top 20 throws all-time with a heave of 140-feet even which placed 3rd.....finished 4th in American Mideast Conference at 143-3.....qualfied for the NAIA Outdoor Nationals and placed 8th with a season-best toss of 146-7.....finished 6th in the NCCAA discus (120-7) and was 7th in the shot put with a career-best 36-0 effort.....threw the discus a career-best 123-8 at the AMC Championship to place 7th.

High School - Two-time All-Kenton Trace Conference performer in track & field for Cedarville High School.....served as a team captain.....two-time district competitor in the shot put and discus.....qualified for the regional in both events as a senior.

Personal - Married Jeremy Bolton on 7/20/02.....Dean's List student as an early childhood education major at Cedarville University.....born 4/5/82 in Yellow Springs, OH..... daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cernetic.....has one older brother and a younger sister.
