Jennifer Tetrick has been a welcome addition to the distance runners since joining the track program two years ago.....captured the 10K title at the American Mideast Conference Championships for the second consecutive year with a 39:50.0 effort and earned a spot on the All-AMC Team last spring.....registered a career-best time of 37:50.36 in the 10,000 meters for a 4rth-place finish at the NAIA Outdoor Championships to earn NAIA All-America honors.....finished 2nd at the NCCAA Championships with a 38:06.27 in the 10K for NCCAA At-Large All-America.....posted a career-best effort of 18:09.33 for 5th place in the 5K at the NCCAA Championships.....NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete, NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete, and AMC Scholar-Athlete.....ran #2 for the Lady Jacket cross country team.....led the squad to the NCCAA national title for the second consecutive season with a 1st-place season-best time of 18:48.....finished second at the AMC Championships with a 18:51 effort in the 5K. 2001 - AMC 10,000 meter champion in 41:06.20.....placed 3rd in the NCCAA 10K with a season-best 40:16.32 effort.....#2 runner for the 2001 NAIA national championshp CU women's cross country team.....NAIA All-American placing 12th overall in 18:36 for the 5K.....NCCAA All-American in 18:42 to finish 4th and was 4th in the AMC in 18:51.....ran a career-low 18:19 as the Wilmington Invitational runner-up.....played for the Lady Jacket volleyball team as a freshman and sophomore helping the program to a combined 52-30 record.....averaged 2.45 kills in 2000 and ranked 11th in the AMC with a .295 attack percentage.....played in 81 of 82 matches in two seasons with 598 career kills. High School - Experienced a two-sport career in volleyball and track & field at Foothill High School.....volleyball team finished second in the Northern Atlantic League her senior season.....played extensive club volleyball in the state of California. Personal - Dean's List student as a political science major at Cedarville University.....born 11/15/81 in Northridge, CA.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Tetrick.....has one younger sister.
