Heidi Wright returns for her senior season as a key member of Cedarville's distance running program.....registered a 5:07.36 in the 1,500 meters to finish 6th at the American Mideast Conference Championships last spring season.....posted an outdoor season-best 10:41.33 in the 3,000 meters for a 2nd-place finish at the Kent State Invitational.....NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete.....was a member of the Cedarville University cross country squad that finished 4th in the NAIA.....earned NCCAA All-America status with a 19:32 5th-place finish in the 5K to help the Lady Jackets capture their second consecutive banner.....was honored by the NCCAA with the Bullock Award which recognizes athletic accomplishments, academic excellence, leadership and Christian character.....posted a season-best 19:30 to finish 10th at the Friendship Invitational.

2001 - Helped lead the Lady Jackets to the 2001 NAIA cross country championship earning All-America honors by placing 29th in 18:53 for the 5,000 meters.....#3 runner on the cross country squad and owns a career-best 18:27.....NCCAA All-American placing 5th overall as CU claimed the championship banner.....part of AMC title squad and placed 7th in the league meet.....ran a season-low 3:09.91 in the 1,000 meters during the indoor circuit with times of 4:55.63 in the 1,500 and 10:41.33 in the 3,000.....placed 4th in the AMC 1,500 last spring in 5:20.70.....posted a season-low 5:03.40 at the Florida State Relays.

High School - Four-year letter winner in both cross country and track at Southfield Christian High School.....earned All-State cross country honors as a freshman, junior, and senior.....three-time conference cross country champion and won the regional as a sophomore.....school swept the conference cross country and track titles in each of her four years.....won league and regional track titles in the 1,600 meters.....National Honor Society student.....Homecoming Queen.

Personal - NAIA and NCCAA All-America Scholar-Athlete in cross country.....Dean's List student as a Middle Childhood Education major at Cedarville University.....born 11/17/80 in Southfield, MI.....daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wright.....has two older sisters.
