Sarah Roberts is one of the top returnees for the Lady Jackets having run among the squad's top four runners during her first two seasons.....repeated as an NCCAA All-American placing 8th out of 153 runners in 18:54 for the 5K.....landed a spot on the American Mideast Conference Team for the second straight time finishing 6th in 19:02.....CU's #4 runner at the NAIA Nationals placing 59th of 238 runners in 19:25.....broke 20:00 in all nine meets.....finished 3rd overall at the Greensboro Invitational in 18:53.....NAIA Outdoor Track All-American by placing 5th in the 5,000 meters (17:53.24). 2000 - Put together a remarkable freshman campaign as the team's #2 runner in eight out of nine meets.....NCCAA All-American placing 9th in a career-best 18:52.....earned All-AMC honors with a 5th-place showing in 19:23.....placed 54th in 19:36 at the NAIA Nationals.....finished 2nd overall behind teammate Erin Nehus at both the Rio Grande and Greensboro Invitationals.....ran under 20:00 in seven meets. High School - Named the Female Athlete of the Year as a senior at Vicksburg High School.....earned four letters each in cross country and track plus two more in volleyball.....two-time cross country Team MVP and three-time MVP in track.....set the school record in the cross country 5K with a time of 18:25.....member of two conference championship teams.....holds track school records for the 800 meters, mile, and two-mile.....part of three-time conference champion 4 x 800 relay team that holds the school record.....member of conference and regional title track teams.....Academic All-State in cross country and a National Honor Society recipient.
