Libby Shortt is a second-year runner for the Lady Jackets.....saw action in six varsity meets during her first collegiate season.....recorded a career-low time of 21:33 for the 5,000 meters to finish 46th of 114 runners at the Wilmington Invitational.....clocked in 21:45 to finish 51st of 120 at the American Mideast Conference Championship.

High School - Graduate of nearby Xenia Christian High School.....three-year letter winner in cross country and earned four more in track & field.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean's List student as an English major.....born 11/10/83 in Plantation, FL.....daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jeff Shortt.....father is an associate professor of electrical engineering at CU and mother is the school's Wellness Center Coordinator.....has one older sister, one younger sister, and two younger brothers.
